
STILWELL, Okla. — Kinley Buckner was recently commended for her participation in DreamStar Connections by Oklahoma State Rep. David Hardin, R-86th District, and Oklahoma State Sen. Tom Woods, R-4th District.
DreamStar is an organization that aims to teach leadership skills and build self-esteem and character in young adolescents, with the goal of empowering them for the future.
Buckner was recognized and congratulated for her involvement in the DreamStar Co-Ed program and her dedication to being a positive role model for others.
DreamStar was founded in 2009.
Buckner is a member of the United Keetoowah Band of Cherokee Indians and the granddaughter of outgoing Sequoyah District Representative Levi Catron.
